Aggregate Pit
Through MTO MOU process in 2013, BNA acquired a permitted aggregate pit located 3 km north of the reserve. 3 treed hectares have been cleared from the site, and it has been surveyed. BNA is in the process of talking with Steve Ward Contracting to open up the site.
BNA is committed to improving the main access road into the community by straightening, adding aggregate, and chip-sealing the road.
BNA would like to use the material from its aggregate pit to fix the roads, and stockpile rest for outside sale. Ideally equipment would be acquired for the pit and roadwork, including loader and a dump truck.
